Dr. David Bolotin is a 1986 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to this area in 1987 to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery and has been a resident of Fairfield County ever since.

During his internship, he also served as a relief Veterinarian for dozens of area practices and was the Managing Veterinarian at the Emergency Veterinarian Clinic covering evening and weekend shifts. The combined experience of his internship and being exposed to a variety of diverse techniques helped him foster a veterinary approach that strives for the best medical outcome in the most compassionate and efficient manner.

Recognizing the benefits associated with a feline only practice and after consulting with associates throughout the country, he established Just Cats Veterinary Hospital in 1991 making it one of the first facilities in the US to cater exclusively to cats and their owners.

Dr. Bolotin enjoys many aspects of feline medicine and maintains a particular interest in gerontology. His is also a USDA accredited veterinarian.

Married with two daughters, Dr. Bolotin shares his family with two wonderful cats, Wiley and Maisy and a Jack Russell named Ollie.

Although he has limited free time, he enjoys Long Island Sound as often as possible – a hobby that still keeps Just Cats close to his heart.

The name of his boat is “Cats My Drift.” xx
